Los Servicios de Microbiología del Hospital Universitario Son Espases y del Hospital Son Llàtzer y el IdISPa, han publicado un artículo sobre el VIM-47, una nueva variante del VIM-13 Metallo-β-Lactamasa autóctono de las Illes Balears.
Laura Zamorano, Xavier Mulet, C. Juan, José Luis Pérez y Antonio Oliver, microbiólogos del Hospital Universitario Son Espases e investigadores del IdISPa; y Margarita Garau y Carmen Gallegos, microbiólogas del Hospital Son Llàtzer, han publicado el artículo titulado "VIM-47, a New Variant of the Autochthonous Metallo-β-Lactamase VIM-13 from the Balearic Islands in Spain" en la revista Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy.
